Wrapping Up May...Looking Ahead to June

- A friendly reminder that spring picture packets or payments need to be returned to school as soon as possible

- This week will be our last week of homework and spelling tests!

- Field Day is on Thursday, June 7th. Please be sure that your child is wearing their gym shorts and a yellow shirt.
Please apply sunscreen in the morning before school and provide your child with a labeled water bottle.

- The Parent Guild is seeking donations to be used for buying Popsicles and water for the kids on Field Day. Please
Send donations in a marked envelope.

- Our end of the school year party will be on Friday, June 15th at 9:00 am. Hopefully, the weather will be
beautiful. All are welcome to attend, if we are able to have it outside. Homeroom parents will be letting you
know what is needed for the event.

- Monday, June 18th will be "Bag and Rag Day"! We will be cleaning and sending home many items!

- Tuesday, June 19th we will enjoy the half day together!

* Please let me know if your child will not be in school on June 18 and 19th so that I can have them take home their school items early.

I thought it would be helpful to post this email from our homeroom parents! As always, thanks for your support! Dear Parents, Each SBS homeroom has been asked to donate a themed gift basket for the Fall Festival! Homeroom 1C has an "Outdoor Fun" theme (backyard games, volley ball set, ladder ball, frisbee, whiffle ball, pitching machine, horseshoes, jump rope, sidewalk chalk, sprinkler, water balloon kit, squirt guns, paint ball, gift cards, etc... We are also looking for a basket, cellophane, tape, ribbon, etc... Please include an approximate cost of the items that you send in.  You can kindly send in your donations to school with your child by Friday, June 8th!
